Oh Mother of Your Father!

Aside

4634894319_fc4a868593_z“In the Presence of the Lord, the meaning (al-murad) of the Sabbath is Fatima the Resplendent (al-fâtima al-zahra’), because She is the Day of the Book (yawm al-kitâb). Verily the Godhead hath caused all created things (kullu-shay’) to appear through Her…” – Essence of the Seven Letters, Tafsîr Sûrat’ul-Baqara (Comm. the Surah of the Cow)

The Prophet (s) said, “Fatima is a maiden of Paradise in human form, she does not receive any kind of menses.” Al-Sawaiq Al-Muhariqa, p. 160; Is^af Al-Raghibeen, p. 188; Kenz Al-Omal, v. 13, p. 94; Muntakhab Kenz Al-Omal, v. 5, p. 97.

The Prophet said, “Paradise lies at the feet of your mother.” [Musnad Ahmad, Sunan An-Nasâ’i, Sunan Ibn Mâjah]

The Prophet (s) said, “If I were separated from the fruits of Paradise I would kiss Fatima.”Nur Al-Absar, p. 51.

Is She The Feminine Principle?

The Throne (Arsh in Arabic) in Kemetic Science is called Aset (Her Name meaning Throne to the Ancient Egyptians).

The All-Merciful is established firmly on the Throne. (Quran 20:5)

His throne extends over the heavens and the earth; and their upholding does not weary Him. He is the Sublime, the Almighty One! (Quran 2:255)

This is nearly a description of the Shiva/Shakti … the mystery of the Feminine/Masculine Principle that one must realize to attain SELF-REALIZATION … God created us to know GOD’s SELF.

He Who Has Seen My Mother

HE WHO HAS SEEN MY MOTHER

By Nazrul Islam

Translation by Rachel Fell McDermott

He who has seen my Mother
can he hate his brother?
She loves everyone in the three worlds;
her heart cries for all.
With her there’s no difference of caste,
no distinction between high and low;
all are the same.
If she sees a Candala
like Rama with Guhak
she clasps him to her breast.
Ma is our Great Illusion, highest Nature, and
Father our highest Self;
that’s why one feels love for all
we feel love for all.
If you worship the Mother
hating her children
she won’t accept your puja;
the Ten-Armed One will not.
The day we forget the knowledge of difference
on that day only
will Ma come home to us.

The Poetry of Rabia al-Basri

The Poetry of Rabia al-Basri

My God and My Lord

Eyes are at rest, the stars are setting.
Hushed are the stirrings of birds in their nests,
Of monsters in the ocean.

You are the Just who knows no change,
The Balance that can never swerve,
The Eternal which never passes away.

The doors of Kings are bolted now and guarded by soldiers.
Your Door is open to all who call upon You.

My Lord,
Each love is now alone with his beloved.
And I am alone with You.

Rabia al Basri

In My Soul

In
my soul
there is a temple, a shrine, a mosque, a church
where I kneel.

Prayer should bring us to an altar where no walls or names exist.

Is there not a region of love where the sovereignty is
illumined nothing,

where ecstasy gets poured into itself
and becomes
lost,

where the wing is fully alive
but has no mind or
body?

In
my soul
there is a temple, a shrine, a mosque,
a church

that dissolve, that
dissolve in

God.

Rabia al Basri

Gandhi quotes…

“Like the bee gathering honey from the different flowers,

the wise person accepts the essence of the different scriptures

and sees only the good in all religions.”

– Mahatma Gandhi

“I wanted to know the best of the life of one who holds today an undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind… I became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet the scrupulous regard for pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the second volume (of the Prophet’s biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of that great life.”
