and the Matrix of creation was Love….

Then creation recognized its Creator
in its own forms and appearances.
For in the beginning, when God said, “Let it be!”
and it came to pass, the means and the Matrix of creation was Love,
because all creation was formed through Her as in the twinkling of an eye.

A Prayer to Aditi for help and protection

1  Aditi is sky, and air’s mid-region, Aditi is the father, son, and mother,

Aditi all the Gods and the Five Nations,  Aditi what is now and what is future.

2  We call for help the Queen of Law and Order, great mother of all those whose ways are righteous,

Far-spread, unwasting strong in her dominion, Aditi wisely leading, well protecting.

3  Sinless may we ascend, for weal, the vessel, rowed with good oars, divine, that never leaketh,

Earth, our strong guard, incomparable Heaven, Aditi wisely leading, well protecting.

4  Let us bring hither, in pursuit of riches, Aditi with our word, the mighty mother,

Her in whose lap the spacious air is lying: may she afford us triply-guarding shelter!aditi

Is She calling?

Maa-durga-devi-navratri-wallpaper-258Perhaps the Divine Mother is calling Her prodigal children back home to her waiting arms. Perhaps She is reminding us that there is much in the unseen that our modern world gravely needs. Grace. Compassion. The belief in the power of love to conquer injustice and evil.”

-Mary Saracino, She Is Everywhere

because She is chosen…

Mary-Mother-of-Innocence

“To give worthy praise to the Lord’s mercy, we unite ourselves with Your Immaculate Mother, for then our hymn will be more pleasing to You, because She is chosen from among men and angels. Through Her, as through a pure crystal, Your mercy was passed on to us. Through Her, man became pleasing to God; Through Her, streams of grace flowed down upon us.”

–St. Faustina

Thou workest Thine own work….

O Mother, all is done after Thine own sweet will;
Thou art in truth self-willed, Redeemer of mankind!
Thou workest Thine own work; men only call it theirs.
