Not Christian or Jew or
Muslim, not Hindu,
Buddhist, Sufi, or Zen.
Not any religion

or cultural system. I am
not from the east
or the west, not
out of the ocean or up

from the ground, not
natural or ethereal, not
composed of elements at all.
I do not exist,

am not an entity in this
world or the next,
did not descend from
Adam and Eve or any

origin story. My place is
the placeless, a trace
of the traceless.
Neither body or soul.

I belong to the beloved,
have seen the two
worlds as one and
that one
call to and know,

first, last, outer, inner,
only that breath breathing

human being.

Peace begins with a smile. – Mother Teresa

Peace may sound simple – one beautiful word – but it requires everything we have, every quality, every strength, every dream, every high ideal.
– Yehudi Menuhin (1916-1999)

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” — Rumi

When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace. Jimi Hendrix

Allah forbiddeth you not those who warred not against you on account of religion and drove you not out from your homes, that ye should show them kindness and deal justly with them. Lo! Allah loveth the just dealers. Allah forbiddeth you only those who warred against you on account of religion and have driven you out from your homes and helped to drive you out, that ye make friends of them. Whosoever maketh friends of them – (All) such are wrong-doers. (60:8-9)

“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”
― Gautama Buddha

“To wage war within oneself is Islam; the real fight is an inner one. To dispel evil qualities, evil thoughts, and the differences that lead to separations is Islam. To wage war upon jealousy, envy, and vengeance is Islam. To cut out and discard the qualities of Satan and to fill ourselves with the qualities of Allah is Islam. To show a heart full of love to our brothers and sisters is the wealth of Islam. ”
M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen, Islam & World Peace: Explanations of a Sufi

“World peace must develop from inner peace. Peace is not just mere absence of violence. Peace is, I think, the manifestation of human compassion.”
― Dalai Lama XIV

“For a day, just for one day,
Talk about that which disturbs no one
And bring some peace into your
Beautiful eyes.”
― حافظ, The Subject Tonight Is Love: 60 Wild and Sweet Poems of Hafiz

“The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to the healing of the world.”
― Marianne Williamson

Forgive him who wrongs you;
join him who cuts you off;
do good to him who does evil to you;
and speak the truth
even if it be against yourself.
(inscribed on the Prophet’s sword)

“Peace,love,empathy”

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported The Messenger (SAW) said, “He who strives to serve a widow and a poor person is like the one who strives in Allah’s way.” He also reported that when a man complained to the Messenger of being hardhearted he said, “Show affection to the orphans and feed the poor.” (Hakim)peace in our hands

I made an oath to myself:
as long as I live
as long as my soul
remains in this body
I won’t deviate from the right way
but later I looked to my left
and then to my right
and I saw our beloved everywhere
how could I make a wrong turn?
– Rumi

Say the meaning
without the alphabet –

Say it without words,
so the heart can take over
